WELCOME TO KING OF KINGS
We are so very glad to have you visit our website today. Take a look around and let us know if you have any questions at all. If you have questions like the ones below, our site will answer all of those.
Come as you are. There is no dress code. Some people wear suits or dresses. Others wear casual clothes. You will not stand out if you dress as you normally do. A good rule of thumb for worship is to dress modestly.
When you visit you receive a worship folder that provides notes to help you follow the worship service. You are welcome to join in spoken and sung parts or to just follow along silently if you choose.
You will not be called out or put on the spot in any way. At worship we want you to meet with God in a way that works for you.
Our Sunday worship services are an hour long most Sundays, and about ten minutes longer on the first and third Sundays of each month when we celebrate Holy Communion.
We encourage family worship. Yet younger children need to grow into that. During the 10:45am service(9:30am in summer) there is a staffed childcare room for kids around 0-4 years. During the sermon (middle 20 minutes) there is a children's church activity for kids around 4-8 years old.
You are welcome to participate in most everything. We gather a free will offering at each service but do not expect you to participate. You may if you choose. Our celebration of Holy Communion happens on first and third Sundays of the month. We ask guests to wait to take Holy Communion until we can discuss with you our Bible beliefs and practices. We look forward to the time when new people join us for this sacred meal.
