Eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost

October 1, 2023

Lord, turn our hearts to you!

Join us in person or on livestream at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKv3ogN3GZcUD5aIqOkVN8g to hear in the Old Testament,

in the book of Ezekiel, the LORD spoke through the prophet to the people of Israel, "Repent and live!"  In the New Testament, in the gospel

of Matthew, Jesus admonishes the chief priests and elders of the people for not listening to John the Baptizer's call to repentance.  And also

in the New Testament, in the apostle Paul's letter to the Phillippians, he encourages us to have the same mindset as Jesus towards others:

humility and love.
