GROUP LIFE

YOUTH

Teens of the congregation gather monthly for various activities: recreation, service, fellowship, and fun.

MEN'S

Wednesday mornings: men meet for coffee and fellowship at 8:00 am most Wednesdays.

To serve and foster fellowship and friendship, the men of the congregation meet for activities at church, homes, and other venues.

WOMEN'S

Women in God's Service (WinGS): offers monthly events to encourage and support one another as sisters in Christ.

Lutheran Women's Ministry Society (LWMS): connects us to world wide missions of our church body which we support with prayer and gifts.

Crafternoon: monthly meeting after Sunday worship in the activity center of women who work on their own craft projects while gathering together.

PARENTS

Parents' Brunch: six times a year parents meet for enrichment, topics, and discussion while their children enjoy supervised play. Then all enjoy brunch together.

Parents meet for study with their middle school children and pastor for selected topics in the youth confirmation curriculum.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

ALL

Periodic outreach initiatives in our neighborhoods to share Christ's love.

Many opportunities to teach God's Word to children and teens.

Projects to care for and beautify our properties and buildings. Spring and Fall workdays the first Saturday of May and November.

WOMEN

Altar Guild servants care for everything pertaining to the altar, Holy Communion, and all adornments in the worship space.

Serve and support missions and missionaries with encouraging correspondence, prayers, and gifts.

Staff the childcare room during Sunday worship

MEN

Work projects at the church tapping our trades and talents.

Ushers welcome and serve the needs of God's people during worship.

Serve in roles of leadership on Church Council and Board of Elders.

YOUTH

Youth lead community service activities at places like the city mission, food bank, and Ronald McDonald House

Project days at the homes of senior members and others in times of need.
